Personal Training · In-Home & Online

One-on-one training, at home or over video.

Alongside the corrective work I take a small number of general training clients. The assessment still comes first, and I program strength and conditioning on top of what it finds.

The first meeting is free and runs an hour. I assess your movement first, then we figure out whether the program you want and the program your assessment calls for are the same thing.

Pick your time

I hold three national certifications and I have been training clients for over ten years. I keep the roster small so every program actually gets written for the person it belongs to.

Fit

Whether this is a fit

I take training clients selectively. Here is what I am looking for.

This format suits clients who

  • Get stronger, year after year
  • Build movement quality before adding load
  • Eat in a way you can maintain
  • Hear a direct assessment of your progress

This is not a fit if you want

  • A magazine-cover body in 12 weeks
  • Extreme diets or "whatever it takes" plans
  • Motivation as the main service

Trainers who work that way exist and some of them are very good. Ask me at the first meeting and I will point you toward one.

What's included

Every plan comes with

  1. First

    Movement assessment

Before any load goes on, I watch how you move and note what needs correcting. Everything I program after that accounts for what I found.

  2. Then

    A written program

I write the program around your goals, your equipment and how many days a week you can actually train. I revise it as you progress and you always have a copy of the current version.

  3. Plus

    Nutrition coaching

I am a certified sports nutrition coach. I build food guidance around what you already eat and around the meals you are not willing to give up, because those are the plans people actually stay on.

Free posture guide

Five movements for stairs and sit-to-stand

Five movements on one page, each with a photo and two lines of instruction. All of them are done standing or seated, take about two minutes, and need nothing but a wall or a chair. Put in your email and I will send it over.

Weekly posts

I post a training tip most weeks. Have a look at how I explain things before you book anything.

First meeting · Free · One hour

Pick a time

Orientations run Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings, one hour each, one person at a time. Nine slots a week. I assess how you move, tell you what I am seeing, and give you a plan with a price on it. It costs nothing.

Booking holds a card against the slot. I charge it $70 in one case: a no-show, or a cancellation inside 24 hours.

Questions

Send a question instead

Questions about the assessment, the rates, whether corrective work applies to a specific diagnosis, or what your doctor would need to send me. This comes straight to me and I answer within one business day. It does not hold a slot or a card.
