Corrective Exercise
Baltimore, MD
Alongside the corrective work I take a small number of general training clients. The assessment still comes first, and I program strength and conditioning on top of what it finds.
The first meeting is free and runs an hour. I assess your movement first, then we figure out whether the program you want and the program your assessment calls for are the same thing.

Twelve weekly sessions booked at once, which covers about three months. Prepaid clients keep a standing slot on the calendar and reschedule against it instead of rebooking every week.
I hold three national certifications and I have been training clients for over ten years. I keep the roster small so every program actually gets written for the person it belongs to.
I take training clients selectively. Here is what I am looking for.
Trainers who work that way exist and some of them are very good. Ask me at the first meeting and I will point you toward one.
Before any load goes on, I watch how you move and note what needs correcting. Everything I program after that accounts for what I found.
I write the program around your goals, your equipment and how many days a week you can actually train. I revise it as you progress and you always have a copy of the current version.
I am a certified sports nutrition coach. I build food guidance around what you already eat and around the meals you are not willing to give up, because those are the plans people actually stay on.
Five movements on one page, each with a photo and two lines of instruction. All of them are done standing or seated, take about two minutes, and need nothing but a wall or a chair. Put in your email and I will send it over.
Orientations run Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings, one hour each, one person at a time. Nine slots a week. I assess how you move, tell you what I am seeing, and give you a plan with a price on it. It costs nothing.
Booking holds a card against the slot. I charge it $70 in one case: a no-show, or a cancellation inside 24 hours.
Questions about the assessment, the rates, whether corrective work applies to a specific diagnosis, or what your doctor would need to send me. This comes straight to me and I answer within one business day. It does not hold a slot or a card.
Anyone you send gets the same free first meeting you got. Ask me about the referral thank-you at your next session.

Twelve sessions bought together run below the hourly rate, and I put the whole block on the calendar at once instead of booking you week to week. The rate is in the pricing section. The first meeting is free either way.
